Hadar Iron
A passion for sharing wellness and beauty led Seattle artist and fermentation instructor, Hadar Iron, to create InFerment.
Hadar Iron is an architect, a potter, and a ceramic artist. She worked in Israel on preserving and restoring buildings projects. Then, after working in Los Angeles at Frank Gehry & Associates, and at architecture firms in Seattle, she transitioned to the ceramic world.
She founded InFerment in 2013.

Ceramics & Workshops
In her studio, she throws and sculpts, develops glaze recipes, which include local wood-ash from the northwest forests and fires in her high-fire kiln.
Hadar teaches ceramics and fermentation workshops, in which she educates about the historical aspects of fermentation, its health benefits, and the making of fermented foods.
