Seagull is a semi-gloss light grey glaze with an interesting pattern on the surface resembling feathers. Wood ash glazes vary depending on the heat of the firing, from opaque white to glossy grey/light green. We love the unpredictability and variation of the Seagull glaze surface that sometimes presents bare clay patches or thicker glaze in other places. It is a great mug for morning coffee and afternoon tea and is perfect for a birthday, wedding, or appreciation gift.
All of my handmade ceramics are one of a kind, with intricate details that make each piece a unique work of art. This Moss Glaze Ceramic Handle Mug will have a special, unique canvas of color tones. Depending upon where it is placed in the kiln, it may range from a shiny finish to a matte look.
